Rooms with private shower (or private bath) and WC. Comfort accommodation may be in country hotels (mostly 3-star range) , farmhouses or guesthouses. Most of the facilities booked by Iceland Tours offer dinner during the summer time. Breakfast is included.
Hotel Klettur
Hotel Klettur is a beautiful 3 star hotel located right next to Reykjavik´s main shopping street, Laugavegur. The hotel has 86 brightly decorated and modern guest rooms with free wired internet access, refrigerator, telephone, flat-screen satellite TV and private bathroom with shower.
A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. Several shops, restaurants and cafés are located in the surrounding area.
Free public parking is possible on site.
Budget accommodation:
Rooms without private facilities. Budget accommodation may be in country hotels, farmhouses and/ or guesthouses. All rooms have made-up beds; some of these rooms have washbasins with hot and cold water. Showers and WC in shared facilities. Snorri´s Guesthouse
Snorri's Guesthouse is a friendly family owned guesthouse in Reykjavik, located only few minutes from the main shopping street in the city center. Only a short walking distance away is a historic and atmospheric public indoor swimming pool with a steam bath and outdoor hot tubs.
Other facilities at the guesthouse are free parking at the premises of the guesthouse and free wireless internet connection in the lobby.

Your memorable, Iceland adventure begins the very moment you arrive at Keflavik Airport. Once you pick up your rental vehicle, you’ll head directly for Reykjavik and your exciting, first night in “the land of fire and ice.”
Suggestion: If your flight arrives early enough, you can start your trip off in a spectacular way with a visit to Iceland’s world-famous, Blue Lagoon. Be sure to pack your swimsuit, so you can take a relaxing dip in the Lagoon’s soothing, geothermal waters, before heading to your hotel.

Driving Distance: Approximately 50 km (30 miles)
Enjoy the scenery of the South Coast of Iceland. On the way you will pass two spectacular waterfalls the Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss, two stops you must not miss. You can walk behind Seljalandsfoss and at Skógar you will find a folk museum showing how people lived in past centuries in Iceland. The black sand beaches of the south coast are famous and you can take a walk on them in the little village of Vík or in Reynishverfi. You can go swimming in one of Iceland´s oldest swimming pool, the Seljavallarlaug, a naturally-heated thermal pool located in a beautiful hidden valley.

Overnight stay in Kirkjubæjarklaustur area.
Driving Distance: Approximately 260 km (162 miles)
Today you will visit one of the most popular and beautiful sights of Iceland. Enjoy the breathtaking sights of the Skaftafell National Park, an oasis surrounded by glaciers and black sand with many hiking possibilities and at the spectacular Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Enormous icebergs drift where you can walk along the banks of the lagoon to admire the fantastically-shaped icebergs. Drive back to Kirkjubæjarklaustur for a second night.

Driving Distance: Approximately 250 km (155 miles)
Today it is time to visit some of the most interesting and famous areas of Iceland: the famous geothermal area of Geysir where the Strokkur hot spring ejects its water column high into the air every 5-10 minutes and where numerous small springs boil and bubble. After this you only have a short drive to reach Gullfoss, surely the country’s most famous waterfall. If you wish you can continue to Lake Laugarvatn for a nice thermal bath at Laugarvatn Fontana spa, composed of a series of interconnected baths and steam rooms that complement each other to create a healthy, natural and unique spa experience.

Driving Distance: Approximately 260 km (162 miles)
You can start by a drive to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the geological wonders of the world where you can see the effects of the tectonic plate movements which have opened various cracks and fissures in the earth’s crust. Take time to walk around in the unique landscape of Thingvellir. Now you can either take some time to relax in Reykjavik or drive to the famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing swim, if you did not stop at the Blue Lagoon on day one (approx. 120 km round trip).

Driving Distance: Approximately 210 km (130 miles)
Now it is time to head back home, after an amazing journey through one of the world’s most picturesque landscapes. You will drive back to Keflavík Airport for your flight back home. Depending on your flight time, you may be able to enjoy your last day strolling around Reykjavík. Or, even better, consider booking an extra night in Reykjavík to really give yourself time to experience all the amazing things Iceland’s capital city has to offer.
